Construction Details

Conductor

• Annealed Tinned Copper Conductor
• Flexible Class 5 as per IS 8130:1984
• Complying with DIN VDE 0295 / IEC 60228

Fine-stranded construction ensures high flexibility and excellent conductivity.

Separator Tape

A suitable separator tape may be applied over the conductor to enhance structural integrity and insulation performance.

Insulation

• Heat Resisting Elastomer Compound
• Silicone Rubber Type IE 5
• As per IS 6380:1984

Provides:

• Resistance to ageing and oxidation

Core Identification

• Coloured Insulation

Ensures easy installation and proper circuit identification.

Fillers

Temperature-resistant fillers compatible with insulation materials are used to maintain cable shape and mechanical stability under high heat conditions.

Braiding / Varnish (Optional)

• Fiberglass Braiding

Can be provided as per customer specifications for additional mechanical protection and heat resistance.

Application : Silicone cables are suitable wherever cables are subjected to extreme temperature changes. They are used mainly in the steel producing and aviation industries as well as in ship building, cement, glass and ceramic factories. These cables are halogen free and especially suitable for use in power stations.
